After graduating high school, John attended University of Wisconsin at Whitewater where he pursued a Bachelors of Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. After graduation, he accepted a position with a public accounting firm in Northbrook where he performed financial statement and compliance audits. After two years with the firm, John accepted a position with a firm in Crystal Lake where he continued to perform audits as well as tax and business consulting work. Two years later he accepted an offer to be the Controller of one of the largest family owned moving companies in the country. Realizing that client contact was one of the things he enjoyed most about public accounting he started looking for something new. It was about that time that his brother, Joel, was also making a job change. After much prayer and council from friends that he trusted, Creekside was started.
